Biography

Although Kevin now lives in Los Angeles, he was born in Ireland and grew up in the Dublin suburb of Crumlin, which was also home to Phil Lynott and Brian Downey of Thin Lizzy.

Kevin started playing guitar at the age of 12 after hearing another Irishman, Rory Gallagher, playing; in fact he credits Rory with flipping his musical gene on.

Blues based Rock musicians like Rory, Johnny Winters and Gary Moore were among the many influences that formed the foundation of Kevin’s playing. Although Blues still holds a special place in Kevin’s heart, Kevin’s love of music goes way beyond the Blues. Kevin at one time or other has played some Jazz, Fusion, Celtic and Latin music.

Kevin took a break from playing for many years and thought the desire to play would never come back, but to his great surprise his passion for playing came out of hiding with a vengeance.
